When replacing HID bulbs it is highly recommended that you replace both bulbs. As HID bulbs age they slowly colorshift (change color usually to a more bluish white) and loose brightness. Replacing both bulbs will ensure that they match in color and in brightness. You should keep the old still working bulb as a spare incase you need it in the future.
